Episode Summary
In this episode, I’m sharing something deeply personal and a little unexpected. After taking a short break from the podcast, I reflect on a season that brought both grief and celebration, and how those two experiences intertwined in a way I never could have planned.
I talk about returning to something that has long connected me to my dad, watching the Seattle Seahawks. What began years ago as a way to feel closer to him has grown into something entirely my own. This first football season without him was emotional and tender, yet it became filled with moments of joy, connection, and even celebration in ways that surprised me.
Through this experience, I realized something important about myself. Sometimes the places where we feel most aligned, most intuitive, and most ourselves are not the places we would have expected. Spiritual connection and joy do not always look quiet or serene. Sometimes they show up in loud stadiums, in shared rituals, and in collective celebration.
This episode is an invitation to let your life surprise you. The things that light you up might not fit into the story you once imagined for yourself. And that is more than okay.
